CDCFIB Releases Shortlist for 2026 Recruitment Exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the list of shortlisted candidates for the next stage of its 2026 recruitment exercise.

Applicants who participated in the recruitment process can now check their status on the official CDCFIB recruitment portal. Successful candidates have been invited to proceed to the physical screening and document verification stage.

The Board advised applicants to visit the recruitment portal and log in using their application details to confirm whether they have been shortlisted. Candidates who are successful will be required to select their preferred screening date and venue through the portal.

Shortlisted candidates are expected to report for screening with the original copies and photocopies of all relevant credentials, including educational certificates, birth certificate or age declaration, National Identification Number (NIN) slip, and other documents specified in their invitation.

The screening exercise is a critical stage of the recruitment process, and candidates are advised to carefully follow all instructions provided by the Board to avoid disqualification.

The CDCFIB oversees recruitment into several paramilitary agencies, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

Applicants are encouraged to check their status promptly and make the necessary preparations ahead of the screening exercise.
