Polac Screening 2025. Nigeria Police Academy Announces Screening Dates for 12th Regular Course Applicants

 


Wudil, Kano State — September 2025 – The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, has officially released details for the screening exercise of candidates shortlisted for the 12th Regular Course. The exercise is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 6, 2025, and will run in batches according to state of origin.

Four Stages of Screening

The comprehensive process will involve:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) Examination

  2. Physical Features Screening

  3. Medical Screening

  4. Selection Board Interview

Screening Schedule by State

To ensure orderliness, candidates are required to report strictly on the dates assigned to their states:

  • October 6: Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi (Batch A)

  • October 7: Bauchi (Batch B), Bayelsa, Benue, Borno (Batch A)

  • October 8: Borno (Batch B), Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo (Batch A)

  • October 9: Edo (Batch B), Ekiti, Enugu, FCT-Abuja, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa (Batch A)

  • October 10: Jigawa (Batch B), Kaduna, Kano (Batch A)

  • October 11: Kano (Batch B), Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi (Batch A)

  • October 12: Kogi (Batch B), Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun (Batch A)

  • October 13: Ogun (Batch B), Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau (Batch A)

  • October 14: Plateau (Batch B), Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe (Batch A)

  • October 15 (Final Batch): Yobe (Batch B), Zamfara

Required Documents

Candidates must appear with originals and photocopies of the following:

  • Primary School Leaving Certificate

  • SSCE (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) results

  • JAMB result slip

  • Birth certificate or age declaration

  • LGA indigene certificate

  • Letter of identification

  • Guarantor’s form (completed and signed)

  • Medical fitness certificate from a government hospital

  • NIN slip

  • Four passport photographs

  • Application acknowledgment slip (from POLAC portal)

Dress Code

All candidates should dress in:

White T-shirt, white shorts, white socks, and white canvas shoes.

Official Advisory

The Academy warned applicants to:

  • Report only on the date assigned to their state.

  • Rely on the official POLAC admission portal for updates.

  • Beware of fraudulent social media accounts impersonating the institution.
