The Guinness World Records (GWR) has distanced itself from a controversial claim made by Nigerian social media personality and content creator, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss.
Mandy Kiss, who often refers to herself as the “President of Olosho,” recently announced her intention to set what she described as a world record by sleeping with 100 men in a single day. The announcement, which she made via Instagram, immediately sparked outrage and disbelief across social media platforms.
According to a flier she shared online, the controversial act was scheduled to take place on October 30 in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The promotional material, which bore the Guinness World Records logo, suggested that the so-called attempt would see her engage with 100 men within a 24-hour window. However, the document did not specify an exact venue for the event.
Following the viral spread of the claim, Guinness World Records responded publicly, clarifying that such an activity is not recognized as a record category. In a short statement, GWR said:
“This is not a record we monitor.”
The statement effectively dismissed Mandy Kiss’ claims and further highlighted that no official endorsement was given for her proposed activity.
Mandy Kiss, known for her bold and often controversial lifestyle choices, has consistently drawn attention online with her provocative statements and public persona. This latest stunt has, however, raised fresh debates around the limits of social media influence, clout-chasing culture, and the role of regulatory bodies in curbing misleading claims.
While some fans viewed her announcement as mere publicity-seeking, others criticized the use of the Guinness World Records logo, calling it deceptive and misleading.
