Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has confirmed she is expecting her fourth child, revealing the news during an exclusive interview on CBS Mornings Wednesday. The baby is with her boyfriend, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, putting an end to weeks of speculation about her private life.
The 32-year-old rapper, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, said she is both “excited” and “happy” as she prepares for motherhood again while gearing up for her upcoming arena tour, “Little Miss Drama,” scheduled to kick off in February.
“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work while creating a baby,” Cardi B said, praising Diggs for his support.
Finding Stability in Love
Cardi B described her relationship with Diggs as one built on shared ambition and mutual encouragement. She credited him for helping her feel secure while finalizing her sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, which features a track titled Safe.
“He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,” she shared, admitting that she recently suffered a panic attack while dealing with online criticism and pressure around her album release.
The rapper acknowledged that harsh criticism sometimes discourages her from releasing music:
“This is my art… something I put a lotta love and time into. And when people just rip it apart, it crushes you.”
A New Chapter After Divorce
Cardi B, who shares three children with rapper Offset, revealed she was hesitant to open her heart again following their highly publicized divorce. But Diggs reassured her, telling her: “Let me heal you. Give me a chance to heal you.”
Now, she says, his presence has brought stability and confidence into her life.
Album, Tour, and Humor
Alongside her personal news, Cardi B confirmed her new album is finally ready.
“I feel like it touches every little thing I wanted to touch. It’s something that’s not out there right now,” she said.
In true Cardi fashion, she ended with humor, telling fans:
“Now y’all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told you. Now go support my album, cause I’m a mother of four now.”
With a baby on the way, a new album, and a major tour on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be one of the busiest and most transformative years of Cardi B’s career.
