ATBU 2025/2026 Admission Guide: Pay for Screening, Acceptance & Admission Letter

 Are you an aspiring ATBU student for the 2025/2026 academic session? Wondering how to pay for your admission, complete the screening, and get your admission letter without stress? You’re in the right place. This is your complete step-by-step guide from online screening to physical verification.

1 Complete Your Online Screening

Every UTME or Direct Entry applicant must first complete online screening to be considered for admission.

Portal: screening.atbu.edu.ng

Screening Fee

• Fee: ₦2,000 (non-refundable)

• Must be paid through the portal — it will redirect you to pay.atbu.edu.ng.

• ⚠️ Don’t pay Remita outside the portal. You might lose your payment.

Steps:

1. Visit screening.atbu.edu.ng

2. Log in using your JAMB number & details

3. Click on the payment link to pay the screening fee

4. Complete the online screening form

5. Upload: UTME slip, O’Level results, passport photo, birth certificate

6. Print your Acknowledgment Slip — you’ll need it later

Completing screening is mandatory before admission can be processed.

2 Check Your Admission Status

After screening, you need to check if you’ve been offered admission.

How to check:

1. JAMB eFacility: Log in → Check Admission Status

2. ATBU portal: Search using your JAMB number

If it says “ADMITTED”, congratulations! You can proceed to accept your admission.

3 Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS

Before any payment to the school, you must accept your admission on JAMB CAPS.

Steps:

1. Log in to JAMB eFacility

2. Click Accept Admission

3. Print your JAMB Admission Letter

No acceptance on CAPS → no school admission.

4 Pay Your Acceptance Fee

Once you accept your admission on JAMB CAPS, pay your acceptance fee via ATBU’s official portal.

Steps:

1. Return to screening.atbu.edu.ng

2. Follow the payment link → pay.atbu.edu.ng

3. Pay the required acceptance fee

Acceptance Fee (approx.):

• Medicine/MBBS: ₦40,000

• Other Courses: ₦33,000

Always pay through the official portal. Avoid unauthorized Remita links.

5 Download Your Admission Letter

After acceptance payment:

1. Log in to the ATBU student portal: portal.atbu.edu.ng

2. Use your login credentials (JAMB number & password)

3. Download & print your admission letter

You’ll need this for physical verification.

6 Attend Physical Screening

Physical verification is mandatory. Bring the originals of:

• JAMB Original Slip

• Admission Letter

• O’Level Certificates

• Birth Certificate / Age Declaration

• Passport Photos

• Screening Acknowledgment Slip

Dates: Usually around October 2025 (check ATBU portal for updates)

Physical screening confirms your documents and secures your admission.

7 Complete Registration & Payment of School Fees

After physical screening:

1. Register your courses online

2. Pay tuition, hostel, and departmental levies

3. Attend orientation and start lectures
