The Nigerian Defence Academy is gearing up for a fresh intake, officially opening its online admission portal for the 78 Regular Course this Friday, November 28, 2025, with the window running all the way till April 30, 2026. This marks another cycle in the Academy’s long tradition of shaping disciplined, capable officers for the nation’s armed forces.
In a statement released by the Academy Registrar, the NDA reaffirmed that the application is open to both male and female Nigerians who meet the eligibility criteria. Interested applicants are required to head to the official portal to purchase their access code and complete the registration process.
To apply, candidates must visit the portal, select Purchase Access Code, and input their details. Payment is to be made strictly through REMITA using an Order ID and RRR code generated on the website. The application fee remains N7,000, and the Academy emphasized that only payments tied to properly generated RRR codes will be accepted. No shortcuts. No side routes. No third-party payments.
Applicants have also been urged to read all instructions carefully before proceeding, ensuring they avoid errors that could delay or invalidate their submission. The NDA directed all prospective candidates to consult the portal for full details and step-by-step guidelines.
This announcement comes months after the NDA had to debunk a fake list circulating online earlier in August. In that warning, Maj. Mohammed Maidawa, the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, cautioned Nigerians to disregard the fraudulent list of alleged successful and reserve candidates for the 2025 Armed Forces Selection Board. The Academy has consistently stressed the importance of verifying information only through its official communication channels.
With the application season now officially underway, thousands of aspiring cadets across the country will be competing for a chance to begin their journey into military leadership, discipline, and national service.
