Asiwaju Mandate Group Pledges 70,000 Votes for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election in Ondo State


 In a spirited show of political support ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) has pledged to deliver a substantial 70,000 votes from Owo Local Government Area in Ondo State for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The announcement came during a high-profile meeting attended by community leaders, politicians, and prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from across Owo Local Government.

The group, under the leadership and guidance of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, emphasized its unwavering commitment to championing President Tinubu’s bid for re-election. Speaking at the gathering, AMG leaders highlighted the significant achievements of President Tinubu since taking office, noting an unprecedented federal presence and development initiatives in Ondo State.

Special recognition was given to Minister Tunji-Ojo for his role in advancing the President’s vision for national development. Leaders praised his leadership in transforming the operations of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and other agencies under his ministry, describing his efforts as instrumental to the nation’s progress.

Hon. Felix Ikeolu, AMG Coordinator in Owo, addressed attendees on the necessity of uniting behind President Tinubu, emphasizing that collective action would ensure the continued prosperity and development of Nigeria. Hon. Fatai Lawal echoed this sentiment, expressing confidence in the government’s performance and highlighting the shared vision of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Minister Tunji-Ojo to secure Tinubu’s re-election.

Hon. Jimoh Akeem, also known as Humility, spotlighted the people-focused achievements of Minister Tunji-Ojo during his tenure in the House of Representatives, calling on all sons and daughters of Owo Kingdom to support the President’s re-election.

The meeting saw robust participation from APC leaders and members representing all 11 wards of Owo Local Government Area. Prominent figures present included Yunisa Adeola, Hon. Jimoh Akeem, Hon. Fatai Lawal, Hon. Aminu Jetemiodara, Hon. Felix Ikeolu, Hon. Frederick Shina, and other influential political stakeholders. The consensus was clear: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deserving of another term to continue his transformative work for Ondo State and the nation at large.
