The Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, has called for the immediate arrest and psychiatric evaluation of Nigerian content creator, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, following her controversial announcement to attempt a Guinness World Record (GWR) for having the highest number of sexual partners in a single day.
In an open letter addressed to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the monarch described Mandy Kiss’s proposal as a shameful act that could tarnish the image of Ogun State, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large.
Mandy Kiss’s Controversial Plan
On Monday, Mandy Kiss revealed via her Instagram page that she intends to begin her “world record” attempt on October 30, 2025, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
The content creator, who boasts nearly 400,000 Instagram followers, shared a flier with the Guinness World Records logo, claiming that her goal is to sleep with 100 men within 24 hours. Although no specific venue was disclosed, the announcement immediately sparked outrage across social media platforms.
Guinness World Records has reportedly rejected the proposal, yet Mandy Kiss insists she will go ahead with her plans.
Monarch Raises Alarm
Reacting to the development, Oba Akinyemi expressed deep concern over what he described as “the moral decay among Nigerian youths,” stressing that such behavior, if left unchecked, could set a dangerous precedent.
“Mr. Governor, it is disheartening to see a Yoruba girl from my dear state, Ogun State, popularly known as ‘Mandy Kiss’ on social media planning to embarrass her parents, local government area and state before the entire world,” the letter read in part.
The monarch questioned the safety and health implications of the attempt, noting that Mandy Kiss may not survive such an ordeal. He warned that the Nigeria Police could be forced to arrest participants should the act result in her death or any criminal consequences.
Call for Arrest and Rehabilitation
Oba Akinyemi urged Governor Sanwo-Olu and federal authorities to take urgent steps to prevent the event. According to him, the “best approach” is to arrest Mandy Kiss immediately and commit her to a rehabilitation or psychiatric facility.
“Without mincing words, the conduct of Mandy Kiss and her co-travellers has necessitated the need for the Federal Government to regulate the way our youths behave, especially on social media,” he stated.
The monarch further suggested that Mandy Kiss should undergo a drug test by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), alleging that her actions hint at possible substance influence.
Protecting Nigeria’s Moral Image
Oba Akinyemi emphasized that Lagos, as the home state of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, must not allow its reputation to be dragged into disrepute by the “ill-mannered” behavior of one individual.
He called on the Lagos State Government and federal authorities to treat the matter as a test case in safeguarding Nigeria’s cultural values and protecting young people from destructive social media influences.
“The moral decay in the society needs to be given priority attention before everything goes out of hand. Our children who go on the internet for legitimate reasons will be exposed to seeing this arrant nonsense, and this may increase the number of youths engaging in social vices,” the monarch warned.
What’s Next?
The controversy surrounding Mandy Kiss’s Guinness World Record claim has sparked nationwide debate on the limits of social media freedom, the role of cultural values, and the urgent need for stronger online regulations in Nigeria.
As the October 30 date approaches, it remains uncertain whether authorities will heed the monarch’s call for action or if the planned event will be disrupted before it takes place.
